Winter Waltz this weekend ~ Come one and all and lend a hand!


Winter Waltz tickets are still available! Save time this coming Sunday by getting your tickets in advance if you have not already here: You can print them out at home or keep on your phone for convenience. Or you can purchase tickets at the door on Sunday evening.

If you couldn’t make it to a Waltz dance lesson this week with our Waltz professionals, not to worry – they will provide a sample Waltz for us on Sunday evening to get us started.  And for even more festivity, feel free to bring a masquerade mask if you have one. They are available at costume stores or easily available on line. Here is a link to Amazon just as an example:

Students in all of the orchestras received information from Ms. Roy today about the Waltz. The basics are that students should arrive at Benaroya Hall by no later than 5:45 for rehearsal, they should arrive in concert attire, make sure to eat a full dinner before arriving at the Hall, bring a water bottle and their instruments(!) and bring any music Ms. Roy requested.

Finally, we are still seeking a few volunteers and would appreciate any help you can provide for these requests:
• Snacks: Here is the signup sheet to bring easy-to-eat snacks for our orchestra players. FOGO will provide some snacks, but additional fruit, cheese, crackers, etc, will be very helpful:

• Event table volunteers: We still need just a few volunteers to check in ticket-holders, and help at the raffle table and photo booth during easy 30-minute shifts on Sunday evening. Please email the co-chairs listed below if you are available to help during the event and please feel free to reach out to friends.
